MORE RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUAL WITH DISABILITY

I received several emails similar to the one below. Some of the information already match what I already have on my website with others I added as soon as I get the request. Nevertheless, the email below is one I really want to share with you with hope that you too would share the information to anyone that you think will benefit from the resources set-forth. Although I cannot backed the validity of all information from this sender, after reading the information, I think it worth looking reading. I changed the real names of sender and child to protect the privacy of those individuals. The email was sent from a research hospital called Ability Lab

According to web information Ability Lab is said to be the first-ever, “transitional” research hospital where myriads of practitioners, innovators as well as technologist work together toward specific . goals in medicine and rehabilitation. Follow this link to learn more:

LETTER FROM SENDER:

Hi,

After my son, Ryan (not real name) was in the motorcycle accident that changed his physical and mental abilities, our family knew our lives were forever changed. What we didn’t realize, though, was what a difference we’d see in our finances. It’s not just about his ongoing care, which we thought about – it’s about how he’ll be taken care of after my wife and I are gone.

Thanks to a truly great personal banker, I feel comfortable that we’ve got a solid financial plan in place now and for the future. However, I know there are a lot of families like mine that have a disabled family member, and many have questions about finances. Having said that, I’m really impressed with your site’s wealth of resources for people with disabilities, and if you can find room, I hope you’ll add some additional information regarding finances when you or a loved one has a disability.
